What’s New in Firmware v1.4

Enhancements:
Arrow response time improved
Improved signal processing on all bands. For situations where a single strong signal was showing up as multiple signals.
Spec meter available

How to Get the Update

If you are taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection in your vehicle or have access

to Wi-Fi, you will be prompted for the update once it becomes available. If you are

not able to access Wi-Fi, you can connect your Redline 360c to your computer via

USB (https://www.escortradar.com/pages/update-your-device). There are two

different links on the page depending on if you are using Windows or Mac OS.

Agreed! This is a very good pace of product improvement via Firmware. Hat is off to the team because I know it takes a coordinated and sustained effort to bring forward two major updates back to back.

I just installed the update. It was problem free, went in, and rebooted. Looking forward to taking a drive with it later this week to see the improvements.

Not yet but I will be doing more testing soon. So far the arrows do look much better and I’m happy about that.

Along with addressing the arrows, I that there's a bit better sensitivity on Ka.

This is all after a quick spin, but I'll be doing more testing.

I see that something called “Spec Meter” is new to 1.4. Could someone provide clarification to what exactly that is?

The spec meter is cool. Select it and give it a try if you don't like it revert to what you are using or try a different meter they give us choices. Gave fun!

The spec meter shows the band and frequency. It’s a more simple version of spec FR 1 and FR 2. Personally I like the spec FR1.

Better on Ka? Wow!!! I am already getting insane detections. I can hardly wait to take the 1.4 software out for a spin!

So what is the take on the new meter? I am not sure I understand what makes it something I would want to use. I am currently on Spec FR2 I believe.`
