RL 360c FW update news???????

Hey guys: has anyone gotten through to the powers to be yet at Ceder? Are there any RL 360 FW updates in the pipeline about to be released anytime soon. Thanks.

No one that that I know of that has any info as to what Escort is working on is currently posting in Escort's forum.

No idea if it'll be worthwhile but you might try contacting Escort's Product Manager for radar: JSherbondy@cedarelectronics.com
Or maybe: radarfeedback@cedarelectronics.com

Maybe try calling Escort Radar customer service and asking if they have any information.

Call right after they open at 1-800-543-1608, option 2, available from 9am-5:30pm Eastern Time Mon-Fri. Wait for the pause following the message and use the option for a call back.

Firmware 1.9 is bad. Very bad...

Right after the other thread on this topic was closed, I sent a E mail to JSherbondy that went nowhere, Bounced back as being a closed E mail account. I then called Ceder and spoke to a person that either didn't know anything at all (he asked me if there were any problems with the unit) or was playing a nice game of dodge ball with me. He had 0 info on any FW updates that may or may not be in the pipeline.

They just announced a new Max360c Mark II, so I’m sure there focus is on it and not us. That’s sort of seems that’s how it works. I’ve been a customer since the original Escort, and I’ve seen it happen time and time again. If they don’t update it soon, I may have to go to a competitor in the future.

Did you try radarfeedback@cedarelectronics.com?

I'm not surprised that information about what is currently being worked on is not available.

No I did not try this e mail address.
I guess my thought on this is this: It shouldn't be this hard to find out what's going on with upcoming FW updates pertaining to a top tier product that cost this amount. I have not once complained about their cost nor do I plan to, hell I bought my 2nd unit 3 months after the : shall we call it the rough roll out in June, this after having to return the 1st unit for replacement. I just want the company to correct the well-known and many times discussed problems. There seems to be only 2 that req major attention Slooow reactivity to both K and Ka radar, full blast ramp up, The latter of which isnt on my list as being a problem for me.

I did see the 1st early ad for the new MAX 360 model late yesterday and to be honest it kinda upset me off knowing 1st hand where we are with the development/ needed corrections of the current already paid for by many RL 360 but upon reflection this is how business is done here. You buy early then live with whatever it ends up being, you have paid for it, game over.

Just updated to 1.10 and when I open the app I can't see the bands. It appears as a link but you can't access the bands. I went into setting via the Detector and Ka and K band where turned off...
