Default Having Issue Escort IX and Defender Update - HELP!!
Hello I have the EscortIX and when I run Detector Tools I updated the Firmware Update but when I run the Defender Update I get this message -Merging your ESC IX Defender has FAILED! Unable to write location data.
What is going on with the connection? I am running a MAC with Version 2.4.12 (2.4.12) Tools. I would like to update as its part of the reason I went with the Escort Detector.
Please HELP!!

Download Detector tools pro and try it with that. Someone posted somewhere on the forum here that the DT would not work and they tried DT Pro and it worked.

I believe you'll need to use a Windows PC to do this as I do not believe DT Pro is available yet on the Mac.

In the meantime you can use Detector Tools Pro to update your Escort iX.
