My Passport is about 4 years old now. It was fixed for a Bluetooth connectivity issue under warranty a few years ago. Bluetooth is gone again. I attempted to update programming through detector tools. It gets to the “part 4” and then shows an error /failure to update. Anyone else experience similar or have any ideas?
I’m looking at an Escort ix as a replacement. It would be an upgrade with gps self learning. My Passport still “works” but is driving me crazy not being able to block regular falses as before with Live. Any thoughts or info appreciated! |

It just occurred to me in the middle of this latest issue I updated my iPhone to ios13. Any known issues with Escort Live app - iOS 13?

Hey I just came across the “Escort and Beltronics Service Tiers and Fees”. I’m assuming they’re still correct or would have been edited. Can anyone attest to average return around time? I’m guessing tier 2 for no Bluetooth signal / connection? I may go with the ix and repair Passport for backup.

Service turn around is very good. If you decide to buy a new unit make sure it has Escorts IVT filtering. The max 360 line has the best digital IVT filter for new car safety systems that operate on K band. To be honest I can't believe you can actually run your current detector, the false K alerts have got to drive you nuts. Your detector has no K band filtering (IVT). I would not consider the IX, Escort has much better options.
