Default Ka band 35.842

I'm getting several Ka Band 35.842 hits with nothing in sight. Anyone know what this could be? Is this a possible threat just way out of tune?

I looked at my alert history in the Escort Live app just to see, but I have never seen anything at 35.xxx. Interested to hear what it is if you find out more. Did the detector alert with direction or was it all four arrows?

Also, I found a discussion of this right here at Escort Radar Forum a while back in the archives. Have you looked at this?

That article I linked to seems to point to a Tesla auto-driving thing.

"I get blips of 35.842 falses from the front antenna. I am still working with Escort on this, but the most likely theory is that this is interference with Tesla's Autopilot radar. Even though Autopilot operates on 76-77GHz, the antennas may be close enough that there's interference or overdriving."

Not my quote, came from another user in the article.

I get the same thing sitting in front of my garage, my 360c never alerted to that spot before. Sitting at a light with no one around triggers it as well sometimes.

If you are getting these kids of alerts often I think you have a hardware issue and need to replace or repair. I was having these issues on my first Redline as well, and the 2nd one it hasn't happened once.

Interesting. You would think if this was happening with past detectors, new detectors would be screened for this? Looks like mine's already going back in for service.

Default So today noted the following alerts:

Got KA in:

35.846
34.680
34.704
34.692

Since the first one was close to your 35.842 it caught my eye. These all happened in the same area, and each one on my Escort Live app says "Verified by : Escort Redline 360

I never did see the police, and was in an area where it would have been impossible (mostly) for them to hide. Any ideas what these are all about or should I ignore them?

I hope your detector isn't one of those that constantly does false KA alerts like my first one.
