South Alabama Y'all!!
Mostly State Troopers run radar around here. The Sheriff's department could care less in most rural counties. Some of the little towns run speed traps. Repton, Daleville come to mind.
The exception regarding Sheriff's is Houston County. They run speed traps on the rural 4 lane highways. My experience is limited to south and central Alabama. I have no idea about anything above Prattville. Roll Tide
