Exclamation New Max360c Firmware Update?

Hello everyone,

I have just recently purchased the Max 360c which replaced my Escort Passport 8500 x50. Needless to say, it was a well needed upgrade!

There's just been one "issue" which I will mention below:

I've updated the firmware/database via wifi when parked in the garage the other day. Just to be sure I had the latest firmware, I hooked it up to my computer and followed the instructions regarding updating the firmware via USB. I've downloaded the DT and updated the firmware.

But before updating it, in the instructions it says "For all Max 360c owners please ensure you've updated your firmware to version 1.5 beforeSeptember 12, 2018, to continue to take advantage of speed limit data, ESCORT Live alerts, software and Defender Database updates received via Wi-Fi."

For people like me who have obviously purchased their devices after September 12, 2018, what are we supposed to do?

I checked which firmware version I had after updating, and it says 1.11... So I'm a bit confused as to if my device is affected by not being updated before 9/12/2018 or if the device is 100% good to go and up to date?

Another side note: When using Detector Tools Pro, and after updating the firmware, I tried going to the "Device" tab and then clicking on "Update All Software". Upon finalizing the update, I received a pop up which read "Software update(s) Failed to Complete!". What exactly does this mean? And what exactly does updating "all" software do?

I apologize in advance for the many questions, but I do appreciate any/all input!

If you have v 1.11, you're good to go. I wouldn't worry about the message.

Concerning the side note: This just came up today, and it looks like you can't force a firmware update on the Max 360c (although we used to be able to on previous detectors), I'm not sure if it's because it uses wifi to check, in addition to DTP, or not, but it doesn't look like you can. That may be the reason for the failed message.
