JTK feature with ZW5 & Redline 360

Has anyone had experience with the JTK feature whether on Escorts products or others out there? Wondering what the best time setting is to JTK?

Something around 4 seconds usually is fairly good.
Need time to brake and keep people driving behind you out of your trunk when you do.

3 or 4 seconds seems to be the ideal. That gives you time to slow down.

Of all the times I have been shot/"shifted"/dropped anchor and slowed to PSL/hit mute twice....can I recall maybe 2-3 seconds elapsing.... tops....most shots come pretty much point blank anyway....2-3 seconds and your past them:eek:
If you have ever been behind a laser gun....long distance shots are rather difficult to aim that lil bitty (technical term) red dot on your target from very far away....most Fudd's shoot when your pretty close to them...so 4 seconds is an eternity.
Shifter Systems like ZW5/ZR5 are illegal in Texas to use (wrist slap at worse). So we do what we can not to draw attention to those of us using them....like killing the system ASAP after dropping anchor to let FUDD get a reading.....but oftentimes I am past them and they just move on to other cars without batting an eye.
I would really love to see Escort announce what gun is being used like all other manufacturers.:o

I,too, would love to see them add that feature as I'd love to better understand what my local units run with in an effort to stay up on the latest releases for our countermeasures.

Yeah.....announce what gun and screws for the mounts that dont turn into rust buckets after a few months would be nice. Maybe galvanized? Mine are solid rust.

To me 4 seconds seems too long I'd like to see a 2 and 3 second option, I'd prolly use 3. This is whats holding me back from actually buying them. That and I don't seem to hear much on how they are doing against dragon eye, for example improvements/monthly updates, etc... and is there anyone that has used both the ZW5 and ZR5 that can verify if there is any delay in response time with the ZW5 vs the ZR5. Just wondering if the wireless option is slower. Might sound like a dumb question, but in the world of tech, wired is always faster that wireless (wifi vs ethernet).

The minimum time is 4 seconds. You can always turn them off sooner manually if you feel you can react in a shorter time frame.

Would be nice to see in new firmware for the redline 360c for example, to do down to 1 second, 2 second, 3 seconds.... let the driver decide what they want to set the JTK time limit too, rather then just 4 seconds.
