Yes, it's a rule that seems to uniquely apply to me. For some reason, it doesn't seem to apply to others if they do the same thing, but that's besides the point.

Here's a few reports for starters... Some of these threads are older now, but they should still be applicable for reasons I'll bring up in a moment. You'll find some additional detail in the discussions that may help your troubleshooting process.

From EscortRadar: Links to other forums are prohibited.

I can't speak for the other avenues like phone calls, but what I've noticed is that most people have been run off your forum here and haven't found it to be a productive place to post issues. People have even been banned for reporting issues that need to be fixed. More commonly though, such posts are often deleted and so it's helpful to link you to resources outside of ERF. Speaking from my own experience, I've been blown off repeatedly when reporting issues here and so I've stopped bringing them up here as well.

Which firmware update are you referring to? I see no mention of a lockup fix in any recent firmware update.
1.3: Less of a chance of lockups, but not resolved. https://escortradarforum.com/forums/...ad.php?t=17520

1.5: No fix mentioned, current firmware update. https://escortradarforum.com/forums/...ad.php?t=17699

...and the Max360c is based on the Max360 too which is why it suffered the same lockup bugs that the Max360 and GT-360 does so I don't get your point.

Look, I'm not going to go back and forth here. The information is readily available online. The engineers I spoke with for the interview even stated on camera that since the 360c is still locking up, they could port the update over pretty easily. I just hope that this issue gets genuinely resolved for the sake of your customers. They deserve that and that's what ultimately matters here.

Thank you and good luck.

I've seen a second one, but I don't have the link handy. Either way, recent updates have improved the issue, but not totally resolved it. At least we're headed in the right direction here.

Kind of ironic considering Escort openly admits to reading other forums (as they should given how important it is for the company to stay in the loop about their products.)

Anyway, I've reposted the post that you deleted with the links removed. If you or another mod wants those links for your own sake, just PM me.

I didn't delete it, just moderated (unapproved) it for review by the forum administrator.

Thank you for clarifying. I appreciate it. That makes sense.

If I see a post with a video that includes links to product sales I moderate (unapprove) it for review.

Feel free to report any that include links to product sales and I will moderate (unapprove) them for review. Authorized Escort Dealers are allowed to post links to Escort products. Moderators are human and sometimes miss things.

As always if I can easily edit a post that mentions other forums or brands without changing the meaning or subject I do so. If not I moderate (unapprove) questionable posts and let the forum administrator deal with them.

The moderators here on Escort's product support forum don't work for Escort and derive no income at all from the sale or promotion of any radar detector. Moderators here simply donate their time (for free) to help out in the forum.

Most deleted posts and bannings that I know of have resulted from the promotion of the competition.

Anyone that was warned about anything but continued posting the same type of posts were banned. People aren't banned for no reason and most, if not all, were first warned about their behavior. Sockpuppets and spammers also get banned.

If you wish to complain about moderators, moderation and or forum policies kindly click on the 'Contact Us' link on the bottom of the page.

IMO this thread has run it's course so I'm closing it. Any moderator can open it if they want to.

I am certain we will get this issue straightened out soon. What I am trying to convey here is that our customers are telling us that there are other more pertinent issues which need to be addressed first.

Vortex,
As far as I am aware, you are exclusively linking to detector sales in the videos that you posted here which were removed. I let you know previously that this is not allowed. Others are abiding to this policy.

Nobody has been banned from this forum for reporting an issue. Reports of issues are everywhere, including right here in this thread. The sole purpose of this forum is to receive feedback from our customers about our products. Everyone that has been banned from our forum first received a warning for their offending behavior. If they continued this behavior, they were banned.
