It sounds like it requires servicing. To set this up, please contact us at the number in my signature below.

ER, do you think a firmware update could help resolve this issue? I understand that you'd need to investigate it more first. It's been reported by multiple people running the original Max 360 on both 1.5 and 1.6 (it happens to my 360 too) and now people are reporting it cropping up on the Max 360c as well. It appears to be some sort of bug related to brief K band alerts and my guess is that the offending code from the 360 has been carried over to the 360c which would explain why we're seeing it on both detectors.

We are still looking into it but I suggest sending it in for service or replacement if yours is doing this. It is not to be expected. I have never seen it happen and have 1000s of mile of use.

That whole thing is going to be hard to pin down without duplicating it and studying it a great deal IMO.

I think I would sit down and hit it with K band quickly, (with radar antenna a good distance away of course) and then see if you can duplicate it.

I have never witnessed it either but it could be that some people have the right conditions for whatever triggers it and some do not.

It would seem that a firmware fix should take care of it, but it's obviously not that simple.

ER, have you guys been able to replicate this from the lab at all?
