Default Max 360 App Issue

Escort,

Please address this issue in the escort app. I have an Android system (Galaxy S7) and can't shut the over speed notification off. Everytime I shut it off in the escort app and back out of the app it goes back to over speed notification. The rader detector Settings (in the app) the over speed stays off but the app over speed notification won't stay off. This causes me to hear the radar detector to say "over speed limit" every time I go 1 mph over the speed limit. This issue is driving me nuts. I didn't buy a high-dollar radar detector to hear this over and over and over and over and over again.

I've noticed this issue after the new update.. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Not sure if this will help, but be aware that there is an alert that comes from the app when you are driving an amount above the posted speed limit, and there's one for driving faster than the maximum speed you've created on your detector. See this post for a fuller explanation.

If you are hearing "Over Speed Limit", then set the app's "Over Speed Limit Alert" setting to something like 5 or 8 mph above the PSL. If you are hearing "Over Speed" only, bump the "Over Speed Alert" setting on the detector up to something like 85 mph.

NOTE: You can manage the app settings and the Detector's setting using the app, if have paired the app to the detector.

Hope that this helps!

No matter want I change the setting to it wont save. I could have it to 25 over (I believe that's the highest you can set it too on the escort app settings) then when I back out of the app setting and go back, it's back to over speed. It doesnt save.

This is weird because under the rader setting the speed alarm is off (I could set it to 85 over here but it says its off).

Escort please help!!!!

Go to Escort Live's settings menu/App Settings/Over Speed Limit Alert and change to the desired setting. Afterward turn the detector off and on to make the change stick (a known bug).

"OverSpeed" is for when you are not using Escort Live, or when using Live and there is no speed limit data available. You can turn it off or adjust it up to 160 mph.

I just uninstalled the buggy app. Aggravation is an understatement. Reset every few minutes, and still get over alert. So I just run my 360 without the crappy app

We will be releasing an app update soon which will resolve this.
