Help Segmenting a 9500ci
So It has been ages since I messed with one myself. An Employee bought an older 911 4s with a 9500ci a few weeks back. Today he asked me how to segment it as he was having issues. So we connected it to his laptop, he running the most up to date firmware etc... After making any changes to the detectors settings via detector tool and hitting save/update it automatically reverts to the original settings. Another example, via the detectors features he turned K band off, if he checks the box for K on and updates it says changes saved or updated yet K is still turned off! Any ideas what we might be missing?

Change the settings on the detector itself.

When I attempt to do that, it only allows me to switch KA on or off. When we checked software on computer it said all firmware was up to date. Do some 9500ci's have an inability to update to segmentation?

Evidently you don't have the latest firmware. Also try turning KA band off and see if it shows you the segmenting options after you turn it off.
