Default Customer Support INSANITY

Hello, as of this post, I've not had functioning radar since... Well. I don't even remember when it worked. Maybe February? Since then, I've been in contact with support and even ordered a new radar receiver, as I've been getting the check receiver wiring issue.

Anyways, the main issue is the fact that there is literally one support tech, and he is most likely swamped, so I don't want to blame him, but I've been emailing and following up since August. In that time I was able to get my receiver and interface sent off for repair. They returned supposedly fixed and I installed all the new parts, receiver, interface, and cables.

Much to my dismay, the issue has not been resolved. September 6th is when I got the repaired unit and pieces. I've been emailing since then every week. I only get one response every so often asking about details I already provided in the opening email. It's been a month, and nothing has been done despite my best efforts. I'll send another email tomorrow as my weekly follow up.

What does it take to get some service around here???!??!!!!??? I've just about had it with this company.

I'm sorry to hear this. We have several support techs. Please call for immediate assistance.

If you continue to receive a "check receiver wiring" message after we serviced the system's radar receiver then it sounds like the receiver's wiring is bad.

I've replaced both wires to the interface, as I was sent new ones. They did not work.

Both wires? The radar receiver only has one user-replaceable cable.

Please contact our customer service department for further assistance.

Thank you

If you keep emailing you will have the same result. I believe it states on the site that email responses are slow. Why not call in and get immediate help? If you're emailing then your desired response is slow and you're not indicating that you need immediate assistance. Might be time to try something different.

If you have replaced all the parts and you're still having an issue it's probably a voltage spike. YOu might need to wire up a delay and have your detector power up a few seconds AFTER the car has been started and this should resolve your issue.
