Same with mine. I ran a test where I used EL only and kept the RD is the glove box (sheez!). EL had No crashes I an hour of using during commute... worked fine in this mode for me. 1 trial.

If the RD is in the glovebox, then there is no point of even having it...

Angry

After the App shutting down for the 4th time in less than 5 miles this morning, I stopped using it. I am sick and tired of this thing stopping working for no reason. It is now more of a distraction than it is worth using. This needs to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY. For the price that we customers pay for this stuff, this is unacceptable.

N/k

So on my next “test”, I swapped over to iPhone 6 with EL and that worked fine with the RD for several days now - no crashes. I am using that combo now until the EL Bluetooth interface between the Android S7 and the Max360 is fixed...

Default Escort live 3 months of crashing

Still crashing after 5 minutes of use on a new Samsung S8, So I paid for the service and updated to the newest version, is something being done to correct this, or am I just out of luck and need to find a new system?

Every KA alert causes the app to crash as soon as the radar signature gets to zero. EVERY. DAMNED. ALERT.

What version of Android is your S8 using?
Running Android 7.0 on an unlocked Galaxy S8, with T-mobile as the provider. All factory updates applied. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Will unpair and re-pair the detector for next commute and report back.

There is a thread somewhere that has a link to the previous version. Download it.

Just installed 2.1.8 because even after I deleted the app and re-installed, and deleted and then repaired the detector, I still had multiple crashes. I've sent the reports every time. How long can it possibly take to isolate a fix?
