Default Speed limit showing 128 mph

When using Escort Live app on my iPhone, the current speed limit (white font on a blue background) occasionally shows 128 mph but goes away quickly. Bug?

When this happens, is your iPhone plugged into your vehicle's USB port? If so, try unplugging it from USB and see if this behavior stops.

You're just guilty and secretly confessing to going 128 mph.

It still shows 128 mph when my iPhone is not connected to USB. I will try to keep my iPhone XR not connected to USB (CarPlay) for awhile. I'll do my best to try to catch my iXc at the right moment if/when it does show 128 mph.

This problem is not consistent and does not bother me but I am just curious as to why it would show 128 mph quickly. I live in Colorado and I don't think there are any speed limits in Pueblo that allow speeds up that fast.

I am not sure if my Sonata can go that fast.

So for the past week, I've had my iPhone XR not plugged into my car's USB port. I did my best to pay attention to my iXc. I can confirm yesterday my iXc was (briefly) showing 128 mph.

It looks like the iXc shows 128 mph when I am transitioning between speed limit zones, like going from 45 to 65. Sometimes the iXc will pick up the speed limit from off-ramps or neighboring roads while I'm still on the highway (65 mph).

Again, this issue is no big deal. Most of the time I don't see the 128 mph, only when I just happen to be looking at my iXc.

This is the only report I have had for this. It sounds like there is inaccurate speed limit data for that area. Can you show me where on Google Maps this is happening?

It is hard to pin-point exactly where but I am mostly in Pueblo, CO.

I-25 and US-50 is usually where the iXc briefly shows the 128 mph.
