Title of this thread states STi-R Plus not STi-R. STi-R Plus replaced the STi-R back in 2009.

Thinking the issue might be that there are differences between the STi-R Plus and the STi-R.

EscortRadar won't be back in the forum until after or on 1/3/2017, hopefully he'll be able to verify.

Yes, it will work perfectly with the STi-R Plus only.

Double tapping your STi-R Plus' mute button will temporarily disable LSP shifting.

Default Correction My unit is an STI-R PLUS!

Some ZR4 heads in a separate bin (probably useless)

What I want to do is mount the STI-R on a truck and use 4 of the heads from the Laser Interceptor with the STI-R. I tried to hook them up (STIR with 9500CI laser pro box and two Laser Interceptor heads) and blew the 2amp fuse (did not retest to prove it was in fact the hook up that blew the fuse and not a clumsy test) New 2amp fuse was installed and unit worked with out the laser shifters attached. Before I blow it up for good, I needed help and advice!

I put a call into Beltronics and they indicated an STI-R PLUS will not work with the Laser interceptor heads but the 9500CI will. The title of this thread appears to conflict with that.

My title on the original post and the identification on my unit was in error. I have an STI-R Plus and that is what this post should be about.

Thanks for correcting your original post.

Thinking EscortRadar will be the person that knows and like I said he won't be back until 1/3/2017.

Laser Interceptor sensors do not work with our systems. You will need Laser ShifterPro shifters.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the input!

Put in the LIP with firm ware 8.18 and the STI-R Plus with escort live smart cord.

You need to build the 9750CIR Backward compatible the STI R and 9500CI antenna's Display and controller GPS and smart cord, but new Jammers and processors capable of jamming the new generation of guns. Be an easy install to change over to.
