I know right, I'm hesitant on plugging that detector in.

Default Write your settings down prior to updating

Mine were. I've gotten in the habit of writing my settings down prior to any update just in case.

I just updated my radar with latest firmware today. With the latest detector windows app, user cannot backup their device locations anymore. This could be our marked locations. This is confirmed support and support said that this was a conclusion/changes done by their dev team.

Really? We can't backup our locations?

Default Marked Locations highly important

Marked Locations is the main reason I use this radar detector. I was hoping they would add an option to extend the distance you receive the reminder alert notice. It is way to short as i can see my marked location before i get the reminder alert.
it was once about 1-2 mile which was great distance for a reminder.

Thanks for the suggestion bman6074.

Note that you can adjust the alert distance when using Escort Live. If you are not using Escort Live, then mark the location before you actually get to it.

I don't use escort live. The problem with the mark location distance before the actual location doesn't work. Because then coming from the opposite direction its even shorter notice . Please add an option into the radar detector settings for longer distance

Would be nice to have Manual Marked Locations be directional, as is Defender.

MAX 360 with Bluetooth Smart/BLE (serial number beginning with 85) has been updated to firmware v1.4

with the following changes:
- Fixed an issue which caused the MAX 360's display to lock up under certain circumstances during an alert. (Note that we are continuing to explore this issue. Another update may be necessary to totally resolve it.)
- Added ZW5 compatibility
This lockup issue which continues to plague versions 1.6/1.7 and 1.3/1.4 makes the detector almost impossible to trust. As Iím sure your team is aware, the lockup just doesnít happen during an alert, it can happen at anytime and also not show any signs that itís indeed frozen.

Iíve experienced this on three brand new M360ís so itís obviously a software isssue and not hardware. This problem didnít exist with 1.5 and 1.2. So something was changed in 1.6 and 1.3 that is carrying over to the latest versions.

Approaching 2 months now without any correspondence regarding your efforts to fully resolve the problem. Anything new on this situation that you can share with us? Is this still a priority to get fully resolved?
