Default Sticky Cup Mount

The mount has been working great for a long time, but recently it has been falling off the windshield while overnight in my garage. Is there a way to fix that? The cup is clean and still sticky.

On the rare occasion that mine falls off, I clean and dry the glass surface very good with Windex. I then clean the sticky cup surface after releasing the suction lever with warm water (rubbing it's surface with my clean finger) and dry it with a cool hairdryer. I replace it and firmly press down at a slight angle at first to try to get any trapped air out, and then while firmly pressing it on, flip the suction lever back to the engaged position.

Sometimes after I do this for some reason it will fall off shortly thereafter (while in my garage) but I just release the suction lever, re-position it slightly, reengage the suction lever and it then sticks for months thereafter. Can't say why it does that, but it does.

If this does not work you will need to send it in for replacement if under warranty or possibly get a new one.
