Default Bluetooth trying to pair motorcycles NAV system..

Hey,

I've got a BMW motorcycle with a Nav system which supports bluetooth. Even when the MAX 360 is paired with my phone (android) it keeps trying to pair with my NAV system which means I have to keep dismissing the requests to pair every couple minutes. Is there anyway to control the BT so that it will only pair with specific devices? Or to turn it off completely?

Also, does anyone know if the Max 360 can be paired with a SENA 20S BT headset? I have not been able to do so...

Thanks,
Ski

1. I am a Iphone user, so I am not sure exactly how your android is set up but you should have preferences in your BT menus of your device to set it up so that it will not continue to try and connect to your navigation system if that isn't what you want, and or you could simply let it connect so it will stop annoying you.

2. I don't believe there is a way to use the headset with the BT with the detector; HOwever there is a audio output on Escorts detectors that you can use to hook up headphones to if you are worried about missing alerts.

You cannot disable bluetooth on a MAX 360. It sounds like a setting in your nav device needs to be configured.

MAX 360 only pairs to devices running iOS or Android. All activity from the MAX 360 appears on the Escort Live app. You can then pair your helmet to your phone and the audio from the app will be routed to your helmet.

Does anyone know which BT protocals the Max 360 supports? Is the BT stack available to look at, edit, or reset? How many simultaneous BT connections does the Max360 support, if it's already connected to my phone why would it continue to search for new connections?

My BT set up on the bike is quite extensive (includes phone, radar detector, on board Stereo, and Nav), making it difficult to squeeze everything in on a single headset.

Even with my NAV set to "Not discoverable" the Max 360 keeps trying to connect.

I currently have the audio output of the Max 360 connected to a BT transmitter that sends the sound to my headset.

I guess the 360 isn't going to support thew functionality that I am looking for but it's hard to understand why Escort didn't include the capability to turn the BT OFF. It's on the 360C but I'm not inclined to buy a new detector just so I can turn the BT off.
