Exclamation Detector Tools Pro updated to v2.3.3.18

Detector Tools Pro has been updated to v2.3.3.18 with the following changes:
- Added Find Device and Fix Device features to aid with connecting detectors to Windows 10 PCs.

Note that Fix Device currently only works with RedLine EX INTL and MAX 360c INTL detectors. Upcoming versions of Detector Tools Pro will add Fix Device support to more detectors.

If you are using Windows 10, and Detector Tools Pro does not identify your connected detector, follow these steps:
1) Install and launch the Detector Tools Pro version 2.3.3.18
2) Connect the detector to your Windows 10 PC using only the USB cable
3) If Detector Tools Pro does not find the detector, under the "Device" tab click Find Device
4) A window will appear notifying you that Detector Tools Pro must restart in admin mode – select Yes. It will then ask to allow publisher to make changes, click Yes
5) Click Find Device again. The detector will immediately connect and be identified by Detector Tools Pro

If you have a North American detector, then this is the last step to perform. You will need to perform steps 1-5 every time you connect the detector to Detector Tools Pro. A permanent solution using the Fix Device feature will be available in upcoming versions of Detector Tools Pro.

6) RedLine EX INTL and MAX 360c INTL detector users, under the Device tab, click Fix Device
7) A window will appear stating “you are about to update your bootloader….”, click OK
8) You will get a bootloader completed message asking you to remove and re-insert the USB plug

Your unit will now be compatible with Windows 10 computers, instantly being recognized by Detector Tools Pro!

Default Mac OS - Dated Hardware

I understand that Escort is primarily a hardware company. However, software and hardware go together hand and hand. The market especially appreciates a polished interface (software) in addition to beautiful and functioning hardware (Think "Apple Inc.") I would appreciate it if Escort could release an update tool for use on Mac OS. I specifically own the Redline EX. Another concern in terms of dated hardware being the latest and greatest... hoping for a micro-USB or USB-C port in the near future (opposed to the mini-USB). I'm sure there's some crazy logistics and hoops to get hardware to work with these ports, but that's what sells... people truly want the latest tech.

Overall, I'm enjoying the product and am continuing to root for Escort. However, if the product isn't going to be convenient to use, than it's not worth the headache (finding dated cables, etc), not being able to update on Mac OS, etc etc.

Default Software? No Mac OS Support

Well, I'm not a fan of all these paid subscriptions ideas. The radars from Escort are expensive enough for what has a bad App Rating on Apple iOS. I liked the radar, but all this nonsense, I'm considering returning for a competitor's detector. My understanding is they are very customer oriented.

MODERATOR: I've modified tho post so that it is compliant with the forum's policies.

What is it doing when you run it? If you are receiving any error messages, a screenshot would help greatly.
