Just received a couple of the Sticky Mounts yesterday.

These babies really lock on!! No more wetting the suction cup with spit.

And I can get 3 of these for the price of one BlendMount.

Default Blendmount upgrade

Today I received a call from Mark at J26 (Blendmount). They now have a longer arm available for the Passport Max mount. This should solve the GPS reception problem. If you contact them they will exchange your old mount arm for the new one. I personally would like to thank Blendount for working and hopefully solving the GPS problem.

Asking a favor, PM me with contact information to Mark. I'd like to offer comparisons using my existing Blendmount and offer feedback about the updated mount.

I'm already using a BlendMount with my Max and test-unit Max 2.

Thanks for your assistance!

IMHO Blendmount is The Holy Grail of RD mounts. Blendmount has the best customer service support I have ever experienced. If you have any questions you will receive an immediate answer.

The Blendmount comes with a nice color installation manual, spare screws, and tool. When installed correctly the Blendmount has a distinct "factory look".

Another nice feature about the Blendmount is the zero bounce factor. Absolutely no bouncing, noise, or vibration from the Blendmount - it is rock steady.

Good Luck in your pursuit of the perfect RD mount

For me personally i dislike the blendmount, way too obvious and not really ideal placement. Stealthy is the only way to fly.

I prefer to make my own:http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=12114

Looks like everyone is in love with Blendmount, I have to look into it further, but I looked on eBay and saw some NICE ones that mount to the mirror for about $35. I'm relatively new to this forum so I'm not sure if it will let me post links but check item number 191530049487 - The seller has a bunch.

But I'm definitely looking into Blendmount now; see what all the hype is about, for my Max2 on the way.

I've been using the above mentioned mounts for about 5 years now on a couple different vehicles. No complaints at all.

I recently purchased a blend mount for my father who hates the suction cups and decided to go ahead and get one for my daily driver as well. I love it and would order another for my truck if I drove it more than once every week or so. Well worth the money, more stealth, looks better, less bounce, etc.
