Hello All. I just recently purchased a Galaxy Note 10. I am having difficulties pairing with my phone/vehicle. I had no such issues with my iphone. If my phone isn't paired with my vehicle my Passport works fine. If I pair my phone and it automatically connects the Passport will not pair. I heard in another thread it is happening because the car pairs before the radar detector. I just don't understand why I can't have both my phone and Passport paired at once. Any idea's? I can imagine buying a new $600.00 and up detector won't solve the issue. Honestly the only reason I use the app is that my detector must be paired with it to look out locations. All the newer detectors have GPS built right in. anyways my car is 2014 Civic Si, phone is Galaxy Note 10+, and detector is the newer passport X70 I believe. Its going to be hard to believe that others with these phones have the same issue.

With your Passport connected to Escort Live, go into Escort Live Settings/Bluetooth Settings and set a 5 second Bluetooth delay. If the issue continues make the delay time longer.

I will try that. It looks like if the phone connects to my bluetooth first the radar detector will not connect. If I disable my phone from connecting to car and then pair radar detector first it works. Its like I have to pair the radar detector first but the car connects to my phone first 1st. It is set to automatically connect.
