I concur. Some of the other brands reduce their detectors' sensitivity to avoid "nagging" drivers from CAS/BSM, but this also reduces detection range.

I'm not knocking Escort by any means, I miss having Live and auto lockout and I WILL be buying another Escort as soon as they have the IVT filtering 100%. Just wanted to give you guys an update.
I know of no/zero/zilch/goose egg brands of detectors that is 100%. Talk around the water cooler is some advancements being made in Artificial Intelligence by one manufacturer......but it is talk right now. We'll see I guess.
In the meantime....

Make sure your running the latest firmware.
Run it in AUTO sensitivity mode.
Set Auto Mute @ Medium
Turn GPS Filter ON
Turn Auto Learn ON.
Cruise Alert (Low Speed Muting). Mine is set at 30mph.
Turn TSR ON.
Be sure POP is OFF.
Ka Band turn OFF.
Ka Narrow 2/5/8 Turned ON.
K Band turned OFF.
K Band Narrow 2/3 Turned ON.

Now this is how mine is setup for my specific environment. I live in KBand hell here on the island. All FUDD's run KBand with the exception of Texas DPS coming here (to look at the little girls in bikini's but that is another story) and shooting Ka. I have laser turned off also but I run Excort ZW5 for laser protection. In the above configuration my 360c is quiet as any detector on the market. Yet gives me significant alert time to drop anchor while hauling butt looking at little girls (Disclaimer: All eye candy is of legal adult age) in their bikini's.
Try the settings. Before tuning K Band I highly recommend running all K Band and note what frequencies your local FUDD's are running....then tune your unit.
No not that one....the detector.
I think you'll be happy.

The Only Sarge this is great, thank you. I, too, still have LEO's using K band so I'm curious to know what frequencies K band narrow 2/3 capture? Most of the BSM's I encounter are around the 24.2 and the majority of police K band fall in the 24.1X so if I segment K band 2/3 on will that cut out most of the BSM's?
Also, I see you run with TSR on, if we don't have a lot of TSR in the area is it recommended to still keep it on?

Yes I would recommend. TSR also can help filter out the K band noise from cars too. I like to keep TSR on as well. I'd recommend it unless your cops use Quick Trigger Instant On K Band.

Your more than welcome.
All Fudd's around here run 24.125 or 24.175 +/- .010'ish.
K Band Narrow 1: 24.050 – 24.110 GHz
K Band Narrow 2: 24.110 – 24.175 GHz
K Band Narrow 3: 24.175 – 24.250 GHz
K Band Narrow 4: 23.950 – 24.050 GHz

TSR just helps (quite a bit actually) with certain car brands BSM system false alerts. I see Instant On here and haven't missed somebody getting I/O in front of me yet. Fudds are sorta lazy with I/O actually and leave the trigger pulled for a few seconds. Then let off. So I catch them doing it to folks in front of me from time to time....but far and away they run K Band Constant on and I pick them up as they are leaving the donut store at the other end of the Island. I could probably get away with just running K Band Narrow #2 as it actually over sweeps a little on the high end. But I wear a belt and suspenders to just be safe
Heck turn TSR off for a week or so and be aware of known BSM falses. Then turn it on and you tell us the difference you experience.

I used to run with K segment 2 only. Due to me being nervous I ended up turning 3 back on. Lol. So I too run with 2 and 3 on K.

Curious as to why you don't select K band narrow 1? With many LEO's in the 24.110, would a gun out of spec fall below and in the "1" category? Just want to make sure if I segment that I don't miss any legit hits.

There is always going to be a certain amount of risk involved to segmenting K Band. It is up to the Individual person as to what amount to take vs the benefit.

I ran K Wide and watched/learned my local Fudd frequencies for quite awhile. Only then did I tune. Your environment may differ.
