Default Escort Live Problems - Two issues

Hi - I wanted to report a couple issues I’ve encountered with my new unit. No matter what I set the over speed limit alert setting to in the Escort Live app, it somehow always reverts to the speed limit. The other issue I encountered today is I got a live KA alert and you know how it starts counting down the feet to the alert - well it got stuck at 1093’ and just stayed there until I restarted the defector.

Please advise.

Moderator: This appears to be an EL app issue, not an issue related to the 360c, so Ive moved this to the Escort Live - General section. If you'd advise whether you are using the iOS or Android version of the app, I'll move this to the more specific sections.

I had the same issue with the over speed limit, until I didn't. Sorry, not trying to be mysterious, but I battled it about five or six times. I think (NOT SURE) what finally fixed it was I made the same setting choice in the Redline Preferences on the detector itself, (set it to no) and then did the same in the App. Then after that, exited back to main screen of app, and then actually powered down the detector, restarted, and the setting has since been remembered.

I found if I only set it in the app, it would revert to "speed limit" for the chosen warning speed.

I will have to try your method. Nothing I have done so far has worked and I also have the detector, and the escort live app setting turned off.

To set speed limit off simply go turn it off then donít do anything else other than close the app. Renter the app then it will be off. There is obviously a bug that prevents it from being turned off unless you do what I said. Any question just ask.
