Question Tune-UP

Hi Everyone,

Is it worth it to get a tune up on a 9500ix? How much is it and what do you get?

Thank you

This is actually the section for the new IX, the 9500ix has it's own section of the forum. If yours is still working then it probably doesn't need anything. I would not put any money in it because it's an old unit. False K band alerts are probably driving you nuts, the 9500ix has no filtering for new vehicle safety systems. I would trade it in on a newer model that has IVT filtering.

If it's working without incident and you are happy with it, I'd keep using it as is.

If you want a much better state-of-the-art detector and can affort a 360c, then you can trade it in on one (or sell it).
As the other posters said, they would not recommend sending it in for a tune-up either.
