Default Max 360 false laser alerts

I just completed a 2000+ mile journey up and down I-75. My Max360 is a 2015. Until this trip, I rarely got a laser warning without seeing an officer shooting it. On this trip, I received probably 20 warnings, when I could see no reason for it. It did not coincide with any collusion warning system on my car (2017 Suburban). It occurred when in traffic and when in very rural areas. On the interstate and on country roads. There were no towers or devices in the area. It did not seem to be caused by bright sun, but? I saw no reason for the warnings.
I no longer have confidence in this detector for reliable laser detection.

You need to read up on how laser works and what a detector can and cannot do. A detector alone (any brand) will not protect you. By the time it goes off your toast. You might check out some threads here on the subject. An iphone X, led taillights, dash screen, and many other things can cause a false laser alert.

Not even sure why they sell detectors with Laser considering its useless standalone, kinda false security for people buying them lol.

Mounting the detector near a backlit LCD screen (like those used in vehicle infotainment systems) can cause laser alerts. Moving the detector further away from it will help.

I get a false laser alert every time I receive an email on my iPhone X.
