The 9500ix doesn't have builtin Bluetooth. Are you using a Escort Live cord?

Moving this to the 9500ix forum.

If you are using a SmartCord Live cord then you must pair the cord through the Escort Live app, not through the iPhone's Bluetooth settings. The pairing process is detailed in the manual that came with your SmartCord Live cord.

The same advice applies to Android phones. The Quick Reference manual for the 9500ix says to use the Android bluetooth settings pages to connect the Smartcord via Bluetooth. The device pairs OK, but doesn't connect - no blue light on the smartcord. You have to make the bluetooth connection by touching the BT icon in the EscortLive app.

After Apple's update of their iOS (11) the bluetooth cords need an upgrade. Contact customer service, and they will help with with sending in the cords for an upgrade.

Just got mine back, and they work fine now.
