Iím also having WiFi issues. But I read in another thread that Escort customer service told a customer that thereís a known issue with WiFi thatís currently being worked on. Iíll sit tight until then. Hopefully itíll fix my issue too.
Please start a new thread about the Wi-Fi issue when you have time. I'd like to know about it.

Mine locked up for the first time since I bought it a few months ago. I don't use Live so no Live or Bluetooth connection to the detector. Locked on 2 K signals. Still displayed vehicle speed correctly.

That is the main problem for me. Unless you watch the detector every second you can be driving around unprotected and not even know it. This is a VERY serious issue. One would think it would take precedence to be fixed over just about anything else.

Almost 2 months now and no fix in site.

I've noticed that my lock-ups are occurring on a speed trap alert often. The strange thing is, it's locked up twice on me going in the same direction (at least two or three times) but coming back, it doesn't always do it in that spot.

It seems to be when I'm approaching something like a speed trap, and it's on the display showing how many feet it is, then it suddenly freeze and I'll realize it's said a few hundred feet for the last mile or so, oh snap that's because it's frozen.

Is it a Speep Trap or a Speed Camera that the voice alert is reporting when it locks up?

Damn. I just placed my order for the 360c today. Maybe I should have went with the REX instead after noticing this locking up issue that still isn't fixed after multiple updates.

Ive had my 360c for about a month and so far no lockups. It is much improved when compared to my old 9500ix.

Default max 360c lockup problem

When the original MAX 360 started with lockup issues, Escort never resolved the issue. Now the new Max 360c is out with the same problem and they are still working on it. I have a Max 360c and doubt very much that this will be fixed. This must be low on their things to do list or is unfixable because of a hardware issue causing this.. I feel the next generation of the MAX 360d, e, f, g...... will still have the same unsolved problem.
Needless to say, after paying $650, I am very disappointed and seriously considering returning this in the next couple of days.

MAX 360.
To the best of my knowledge, there were no reported lockups on the original MAX 360 (which had an additional antenna facing the rear for operating the arrows, which the MAX1/MAX2 did not).
Accordingly, the MAX 360 reported additional "falses" (BSMs) with its additional antenna. As a result an IVT update was released first for the MAX 360 to try to squelch this issue. It is my recollection that then, and only then, the lockups began to be reported.

MAX 360c.
The 360c was released with the same enhanced IVT firmware as the recently updated MAX 360, and accordingly the lockups began being reported on it on its very first firmware version.

MAX1/MAX2
These two original MAXs do not have the IVT update and to my knowledge have no reported lockups.

Hopefully, if my history is correct, the lockups may be an IVT firmware issue and not one with the basic hardware, which hardware is almost identical in all the MAXs but for some additional features in each.
I'm guessing that this is the reason the IVT update for the MAX1/MAX2 has yet to be released, although it appears to have been near release before the lockups began to be reported.

Hope we can get this pinned down for the benefit of all the MAXs.
