Default ESCORT REP/MODERATOR-NEED RESPONSE-Max 360c connects to Android hotspot-doesn't work

After many tries my Max 360c was finally able to connect to my new Moto g6 smartphone. The far left area of the display turns white which indicates the 360c is connected to the hotspot and by pressing a certain key on the detector I can see the 360c is connected to my smartphones hotspot. However when driving the speed limit is never displayed and when I try to manually update the db or firmware an error is displayed. I called Escorts support line 3.5 weeks ago and the representative said this is a known problem and it is a #1 priority for Escort to fix. When will this be fixed?

Thanks

I think you can stop saying, "escort rep/moderator-need response" at the beginning of all your posts. Not only is it annoying but the forum moderators are not escort employees, they just help out on the forum. Escort Radar will be the only one that can answer your questions, you could have lumped them all into one post.

Thanks for your useless post. What is annoying is waiting 1.5 months for my questions to be answered and my detector problems to be fixed. Let the moderators and the Escort reps answer for themselves. How I choose to post my questions is none of your business.

Your first post was 7 hours ago, give it time. Escort Radar will be tbe only one that can help you. You could always send him a PM. I would have called Escorts customer support line say one month and three weeks ago. Anyway good luck.

There is no known issue with Wi-Fi. If you are receiving a failed update message then there is most probably an issue with your Wi-Fi hotspot. Try connecting to a different hotspot. It is possible there is an issue with the detector but if it connects to a hotspot this is doubtful. If you would like for us to look at it, then please contact our service department at the number in my signature below.

See the attachment which is a reply to a older thread of mine with a similar title and that person has basically the same problem my detector has. I have connected my detector to my other phones hotspot and the same thing happens. I know the hotspot is good because I can connect my laptop to it.
