Exclamation MAX/MAX 2/MAX II IVT Filter update available

The Passport MAX, MAX 2, and MAX II have firmware updates available which significantly improve IVT filtering performance resulting in less alerts to radar based In-Vehicle Technologies such as collision avoidance and blind spot monitoring systems.

Use the Detector Tools applications to install this firmware update.

This updates these detectors to the following firmware versions (found by holding down the MRK and MUTE buttons while powering the detector on):
MAX v1.12
MAX 2 (serial no. beginning with 67) v1.9
MAX II (serial no. beginning with 97) v1.1

Be sure your 12 volt power supply is disconnected during the process of a USB update so you get USB power only.

Default Reply to Low Voltage issue

Hey there I saw your post and I had the same problem about the low voltage reading and the shutdown, the problem was due to to the USB cable I was using my guess it was to light for the current needed, so I was told to use one that came with a digital camera that had the same connector. I also tried 4 different USB connections on my iMAC before it properly updated my MAX 2. However I am still unable to communicate between my MAX 2 and my iPhone 7 Plus.

It sounds like you used the "Update All" option several weeks ago which caused the bluetooth non-discoverable issue.

As an Apple Mac user your options are limited until we release an updated version of Apple Mac Detector Tools. To have it resolved immediately we will need to service it. To set this up, contact us at the number in my signature below.

If you have access to a Windows PC, in the next day or two we will be releasing an updated version of Detector Tools Pro which will be able to resolve this by using "Update All" again.
