Default Is there new undetectable radar used by Police

I just went through a small town with my segmented redline and the display on the roadside radar system was reading my speed but my redline was silent. Is there a new system out there we need to be aware of? Washington state. These are normally radiating K band. My X band was on, my Laser is on, all my freqs are on. What's up?

Your RD won’t alert because it doesn’t see the frequency. This type of sign is directional and will usually only show speed of oncoming cars.
If you want check the side of the radar antenna on the sign and see what the spec's say on the side of it. It might even say it's a FM-CW, and it runs around 2.45-GHz.

Some signs use modulated signals which your RedLine will not alert to.
It could also be operating outside of K band.
