Other than 9500ix, M1 is compatible with any detector that can use a StickyCup including RedLine EX.

It includes a 30 day money back guarantee so there is no risk involved to try one. We say it is much improved over the iX in every way. If you don't feel that it is, return it within 30 days for a full refund. Heck if you don't like how it looks, return it within 30 days for a full refund. There are no strings attached to our return policy.

I have said that iXc detects better than ESCORT iX and not as good as a MAX. I have also said that the filtering is much improved over the iX, about the same as MAX and actually may seem better because iXc is not as sensitive as MAX. If you consider this to be vague then I cannot help you.
Sounds good. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

So if it still uses analog technology as iX, does this mean new iXc carries the same burden of not being IVT updateable just as only 2 years old iX?

The Xi is so useless every time I am near an Acura or Honda I had to turn the K-band off because of all the false positives. Just trying to get clarification on this.

I don’t think they are advertising this with an updatable IVT filter like the did with the original iX. I have the original iX, and I will absolutely positively not waste my money on a “new” and slightly improved expensive analog radar detector like this iXc.

So back in November 2018, I asked So is the iXc basically an iX with WiFi? After some research, I finally purchased one. In the few days I have had the unit, we have had a 8Hr round trip from Salisbury, MD to DC and Alexandria, VA, in heavy weekend trafficked Rt. 50, and Rt. 95. Not a blip that wasn't LEO or road work. At one point I was sitting behind a Kia is slow traffic ... not a blip (maybe Kia was not IVT, can't tell, but it felt good). I don't recall Acura encounter, but Buicks did not stir the unit at all. Yesterday, on my regular 2Hr round trip to work, not a blip from anything - had to cycle power to be sure the unit was still working. Nothing conclusive regarding IVT filtering, but so far, the unit has functioned slightly better than my iX, on par with my Max II (which sucks IVT like a black hole - well, almost!), with better looks. I'm happy with my purchase, but an Acura encounter will certainly close the deal. I'll update when I eventually Acura the iXc.

Truth is it's going to be hard to have 100% filtering on this Blind Spot Monitoring Systems. No detector you go with will do that. But with my 360c I have found it to be the best you can get and the closest thing to perfection when it comes to filtering out the unwanted signals.

I am sure your ix does a great job too.
