I have downloaded and installed the 2.4.9 detector tools and I have applied the update but I still have issues. The Phone connects to my passport and the device shows linked but the app doesn't think it is connected. Has anyone come across this?

Exactly which Passport model are you using, and what are the first two digits of the serial number?

I can't see any specific model just says passport. As for the serial, the first two are 68. Cheers, -Stephen |

Holy cows. I have this same one ^ and it hasn't worked right since early last summer. It took me about 10 tries to update the firmware but I finally got it installed. It WORKS! Thanks so much!

I just ran the update and I still have no bluetooth connection. Not showing up on the list of available bluetooth devices.
Max 360 serial number starts with 85. iPhone 7S and Gen 6 iPad both running IOS 11.3. Not sure it is broadcasting a bluetooth signal. Sure hope someone can give me some help. EDIT: So following the instructions in the manual using bluetooth didn't work, but opening devices in the app did. It connected immediately. Just wanted to say that I recently updated with Mac Detector Tools 2.4.12 and it resolved all of my bluetooth connection issues with my Passport. I am even running iOS 12 on my iPhone X and it works perfectly now.
Now just hoping that Escort updates the app to fill the iPhone X screen, especially since the release of the XR, XS and XS Max. |
