Rear laser shifter Passport Escort 9500CI
Hello,
My rear laser shifter is on top of the rear license plate. I need to uninstall and replace with a new one. Is this something I can do myself or will I need to have it replaced by the professionals that previously installed it?

You will need to run a new cable for the new sensor. Splicing the cable will allow interference into it causing laser false alerts.
