Default New updates?

Does this system ever get updates? Falses and new radar technology (MRCD, MRCP)?

I have had a Max Ci 360 for over 2 years with only with only 1 update ever being applied. I cannot imagine that nothing has changed out there since?

Looks like there have been a few updates since it was released back in 2017. Turning off MRCD seems to make MAX 360c windshield mount owners happier at least here in the USA.

This update adds the option to automatically stop laser shifting after a set period (commonly referred to as “Auto JTK” or “Auto Jam To Kill”).

How this works is when using a Shift4/6/8/10 setting, the shifters will shift for 4, 6, 8, or 10 seconds, then will go into receive-only mode for 30 seconds then return to Shift mode. This is the same as double tapping the mute button while shifting. When the shifters are in receive-only mode, while receiving laser shots the display will indicate “laser” instead of “shifting”.

To enable:
- Hold down the SEN and MUTE buttons to go into the detector’s preferences menu
- Repeatedly press the SEN button to cycle through the detector’s categories, stopping at Shifters
- Repeatedly press the MRK (up) or BRT (down) button to cycle through the category’s settings, which are: Receive/Shift/Shift4/Shift6/Shift8/Shift10/Off
- Simply stop on the setting that you want to use and wait a few seconds, or press the power button, to exit the settings menu

Note that installing this update keeps your current Shifters setting intact.

The last update which you offered (1.10) was released in 2018. We are in 2020. I live in Canada and both MRC radar functionality is important to me. I was told by an engineer lead when buying the system that it was on the road map and would be deployed very soon.... when will we see a new update for this which includes False updates? Thxs.

Back in November of 2019 the official Escort Rep said they were looking into adding MRCD detection. From what I understand, due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, it'll still be awhile before he will be back in the forum.

Moderators here are not Escort employees, we are just customers that donate our time for free to help out. We don't have any advance knowledge of firmware releases.
