I know this new OS just became available, but wanted to point out that the Escort Live application crashes immediately upon launch on the new Android OS. I'm hoping this is not news and Escort is working on it now and a new version of the application is imminent.

Can you really use Android Q reliably, anyway? I uninstalled it after two days of crashing apps and problems.

The Escort Live app was sketchy at best on both android AND iPhone, with constantly crashing bluetooth problems, settings that won't save ("Over Speed Limit" anyone?). and just general slowness issues that never seem to go away. Looking further into it, the app was developed against an Android API level that's nearly 5 years old, and is about to be deprecated entirely. So perhaps the CEO's nephew or whatever fly-by-night shop that built this app might want to get their butts in gear and do some updates? If it wasn't enough of an indication that the app was nothing but a sad afterthought, why is the email address listed as the developer account a gmail address, and not something within say...escortradar.com? You know, like a legit developer would have done? I really like my Max360, but make no bones about it, Android Q isn't going to stop and wait for escort to fix their garbage-tier app. |

Update: I just received the Escort Live app update. For me the app opens and runs flawlessly on Android Q-beta. Love the new look of the app and glad the map now has a dark mode. Thanks developers!
