Default Max 360ci won't start, screen dead, controller doesn't work. Urgent HELP!

after spending 3 days to install my new Escort Max 360ci, I powered on my ignition and the base station makes 2 consectives beeps, stops for 2 seconds, then one more beep that is very distorted. it is not the regular boot up sound. something extremely strange is happening.

I'm a licensed electrician, low voltage, this is my 3rd installed escort product done by myself. I'm feeding it 12v power directly from fuse box, switched. ground wire is bolted onto chases together with other grounding wires from various circuits. All cables from shifters/receivers are 100% intact and not cut. I did not cut any factory cables.

After ignition is on, base station makes a 2 fast beeps, pause for 2 seconds, then one more beep. Screen won't turn on at all. (it did once! very first time I started it.). Controller doesn't respond, doesn't light up.

I updated it successfully, manual:updated all software. same issues after.

After a few power on and offs. Removing fuse from base station, nothing different. Sometimes If I leave ignition on longer, it starts beeping after few minutes. single beeps. After that double beeps.

All devices are connected properly. I also tried to disconnect everything, only left power onto the base station, and same issue and beeps. connect controller and screen only, same.

Please help decode the beeps! or what is going on. Thank you.

It probably is not getting enough power. Modern vehicles limit the power on accessory circuits, only providing what is needed to power the accessories. Try connecting the MAX Ci directly to the car's battery and see if it behaves differently.

If it continues to malfunction then there is probably an issue with a component. For further assistance, contact our service department at the number in my signature below.

Please also note that those that need to connect their power source straight to the Battery will find the auto power feature useful. You can set it to auto power off as soon as 1 hour after your car has stopped moving. Then you'll just need to power it back on when you get back into the car.
