Default Over speed warning

I have turned off the over speed warming in escort live and on the max 360c itself. And I still get over speed warnings from the dectector. Am I missing something?

It might also be helpful to understand the difference between an "Overspeed Warning" and an "Over Speed Alert". Refer to this sticky post.

I know the difference between the two and they are both turned off. And i still still get an over speed limit alert. I also have them both turned off through the dectector settings not through the app

If you are using Escort Live with MAX 360c, there are two "Over Speed Limit" settings that you need to disable:
1) In Escort Live's "App Settings" menu
2) The other is not in the app (yet, it will be in the next app update). It is in the MAX 360c's detector settings menu. It is called "Over Spd Limit".

Turn both off if you want to disable these warnings.

I recommend changing to 10-15 over the speed limit. This helps alert you to significant speed limit changes when traveling in unfamiliar areas.

Both are turned off and have been since I bought it. I get over speed limit voice warnings once Iím 10 mph over. My question is why am I still getting the warning if I turned off the feature?

Then one of the settings is turned on. Please check them again.

As I said before, both settings are turned off. I noticed that I only get the over speed alert when the 360 is connected to escort live. When itís not connected I get no over speed alerts. Is it safe to assume that there is no way to turn off the over speed alert while the 360 is connected to escort live?

It can be disabled. To clarify.

There are two "over speed" alerts:
1) Over Speed Limit alert which is only used then you using the Escort Live app or when using Wi-Fi. It alerts based on a value over the speed limit.
2) Over Speed alerts which are an absolute speed, by default 70 mph.

Over Speed Limit must be disabled or changed in the detector's preferences menu (not in the app) and also in the Escort Live App's Settings menu. We know this is confusing and will change it in a future version of the app.

Over Speed alert only needs to be changed in the detector's preferences menu.

Default Over speed alert

Also having problems turning off the "over speed limit" feature... I did it via the radar and the app... Also tried setting it 60 over just to see if it would quit on the radar itself and it still alerts. I'm coming from a 8500 because of the false alerts, now I'm getting more alerts because of this... do I need to update or anything else I can try? Only had it 2 days now
