Default Escort Max 360c Real-World Videos

For those that follow my reviews/videos, you know that I am all about real-world encounters to judge how well a detector actually performs when it's most needed.

I was fortunate to be able to get an early Max 360c and I immediately put it through its paces and have had nothing but good success with it.

I've included some videos below and have more in the pipeline for those interested in Escort's new top of the line detector.

Enjoy!

Veil Guy's Brief Introduction to the Max 360c

Effectiveness of Max 360c's Arrow Transitioning

Effective of Max 360c's Alert to Multiple Detections

Effectiveness of IVT Filtering without TSR

EPIC SAVE from Moving I/O While 20 Over the PSL

Note: Contrary to claims by some intellectually challenged trolls, radar detector was set to English units and the 100 being displayed is my OSP (overspeed alert) in MPH.

Stay tuned for more videos by subscribing

Overall, impressed with the execution. I hope the new tech makes its way down to other detectors--the Max are already the beneficiaries...

Right, I got lucky, because the detector alerted me properly as it should and I reacted quickly. Anytime you avoid a ticket, you're lucky, by definition.

The guy in ahead of me moved over to the right lane (at 0:44) to pass two cars in the left lane when the officer turned on his unit at 0:55 (and kept it on to get me). He never slowed down so I believe the vehicles to his left blocked his speed as he was tucked in nicely and kept going. I suspect the officer had clocked one of the two that were in the left lane at that time.

But clearly he kept it on. I was all alone at the time in the right moving at 74-75 in a 55. Had I kept it there, I would have been toast, no question.

So the detector prevented me from getting a nice fat ticket. EPIC SAVE, in my book. The detector did exactly what it was supposed to. That's a text-book encounter in avoiding I/O.

Next time you get hit with I/O keep it 20 over the PSL in MPH, and see how you fair. Let us know, please. Remember keep it at 20 over!

I was watching Max360c videos on YouTube and this came up:

People in the comments were reporting it was an issue with the 360 as well. Has anyone else seen this with the 360c? Can it be fixed by a firmware update?

We are looking into it. If whoever owns it sees it happen again, then they should have it serviced.
