Default "GPS Signal is Lost"

I like the voice announcements from my 9500ix. But I find it really annoying that whenever I go thru a tunnel it voice announces "GPS Signal is Lost". I do understand GPS does not work in tunnels, and I'd really like to stop those announcements without turning off voice alerts. Is there any way to do that?

No, I don't believe there is.

I have a tunnel on my daily commute and am familiar with the "GPS Signal" announcement. What I find ironic is that my SiriusXM satellite signal is NOT lost while in the tunnel. Color me puzzled.

SiriusXM installed signal repeaters inside the tunnel.

I loose my XM signal by tall buildings and in parking garages. A tunnel should be 100% no go for any gps signal. As far as this thread, with a gps detector i would sure hope it would let you know the signal was lost. I find it laughable someone gripes about this, amazing.
