Default Remember Dashboard view setting; am I the only one?

Can you guys get a developer to spend like 5 minutes setting the app to remember my last view setting? I've never had any interest in the Map view; I always have to click Dashboard. Can you guys make the app remember this or put in in preferences? Years later I'm the only one or something? Seriously, people actually prefer the map view?

EDIT: I just realized that we're talking about having to click that button on average 4 times a day for over 4 years. Every day. So, nearly SIX THOUSAND TIMES.

Thanks!

DaveJB,
It remembers my view settings. What phone and OS version are you using?

It must be an iPhone vs. Android thing. It's never worked for me since I first got it (I'm now realizing maybe over five years ago now) and I've had at least 4 different phones, all Android. I'm currently running a OnePlus 3T, running Android 8.0.

So, you're saying you use Dashboard view and it goes straight to that each time you load the app?

Correct, on iPhone. I'll see if we can get it to act the same on Android.

Offline mode would be nice, as the app is used as not only a way to alert but also to set up your radar detector it should have an offline mode that only connects to the detector and allows for settings change.

Oh man, yes please! On my motorcycle I have a stealth install of the SmartRadar. I often take trips well into the mountains and if there's no signal I can't open the app. As you may know, the Smart Radar NEEDS the app. Thanks!

Another thing, can the app be updated for bigger screens already (on iPhone at least) the Plus versions have been out for 3 generations already and it still looks like its running on iP5.

Additionally it would be really nice if it could do navigation a la Waze.

Default App Feature Requests

Here are my top feature requests:
1) Cloud&Crowd Sourced Lockouts: When I am traveling, why must I drive by a non police radar site 3 times before it will automatically lock out when that information is already known via the cloud and confirmed by the crowd. If I am running the app on my iPhone, I would like the option to turn on updates that were cloud sourced from 100's of other drivers. Just like the marked locations that show up on the iPhone app, this would automatically lock out known false alerts. That way, when I am driving down a freeway that I have never traveled, I will not pick up false alerts from a side road false alert (if I turn on this feature).
2) Auto GPS Band Tuning: Based on my GPS location, I would like an option that I could turn on that would automatically disable any radar frequencies that are not used in a particular geographic area (state or city). Maybe this one would have an option to simply lower the volume for likely false alert or require a higher threshold before potentially false alerting.
In other words, if I drive into an area that is known as not having any live X band radars used by law enforcement, it should essentially switch to autoNoX automatically while I am in that area. I dont want to have to research this via the RDForum database when you should have much better info (via crowd and cloud data).
3) More options for sound and volume. I would like to pick/set a nasty and loud sound for ones that are ONLY Laser or Law Enforcement with rare falses and another more pleasant sound for "potentially false" law enforcement alerts.
4) On previous versions (and perhaps current version) I would like a smarter and larger lock out zone/feature. It seems that my radar (Max 360C and now 360Ci) would lock out a false alert, only have it to briefly alert on my next trip because it picked it up from slightly farther away. By the time I would click to mark it, I would end up unmarking it as it switched to the known marked location before I could click the mark (did you follow that)?
5). I use the Map feature so that I can see what is coming up. In 30 minutes the officer can be 20 miles closer than last alert. I need to be able to zoom out without loosing the ability for the map to keep moving as I move. I need the map to auto orient based on the direction I traveled for the past 2 minutes. I would like a true Ipad version or even better, an Apple CarPlay version so that I can glance over and see (without squinting) if there are any alerts in the upcoming 30 miles (or whatever scale I CHOOSE) since LEO are often on the move.
6) I would like for the LEO/Alert markers on the map to change color based on the age of the alert. I often see strings of alerts where the LEO is moving but I have no way to know which way they are moving since I cant tell which ones are older alerts. While we are at it, I also often see where 2 or more LEOís are working an area. It would be good for a given map to somehow indicate different frequencies. I dont care what the frequency is, I just want to be able to see if it is different frequencies (ie, different LEOís) making the alerts. Maybe you could have any option to use letters for each alert with the same frequencies. If I see icons for one A, two Bís and one C, then I know that these are 3 different frequencies and probably 3 different LEOís working the same area along the interstate.
7) Revamp the visual reporting of LEOís in a simple/streamlined manner. We need to be able to indicate what side of interstate the LEO was located (ie, what direction they are working) and if they are moving or stationary. If we report moving, it needs to show on the map with an arrow and age out faster than the minimum allowed 30 minutes.
8) Historical heat maps may be of interest (after you crowd and cloud source removal of false alerts).

Overall, dont tell me (via other posts) to let the app run in the background. I do that most of the time I just driving around town. When I am on long Interstate trips, I use the MAP feature so I can see where police are saturating my route and to see upcoming alerts. Please devote some time to making the map features better (auto orient and maintain scale) to make this feature more usable.

PS
I love my 360Ci.

I don't know if somebody requested this feature already.
But when it will be integrated, we will be able to see all actions right on the vehicle screen.

Might have been mentioned already, but respect the cruise alert. If I elect for alerts to not happen when I am under 30mph, live alerts should also be suppressed. I don't care that there is a live radar that was detected at some point when I'm under the speed limit.
