It is going to be at least a month, probably longer, before a new Mac Detector Tools is released which supports the latest detectors.

Our moderators are simply trying to help by providing known working solutions. Please do not take this out on them. That's what I'm here for

Thank you

Angry Well it's already been a month

Well, it's already been a month, so I guess we are stuck with the probably more extended portion of your statement. Perhaps the software engineers that are cranking out update after update for the window customers would throw some magic to your company other operating system users. You know, the customers you told that using a computer and Detector Tools is not necessary with our detectors.

Default Can we get a straight answer, Please

None of Escort new detectors (except the IX) support the Mac OS operating system. The main website has been updated with the information. Is Escort going windows operating system only? Forgot all the give us time and the months, we'll years, if you care to read back through the forum. I will stop asking if you give a straight answer instead of wait another year, month, week. There is an update to DT for windows at least twice a month. Are we, Mac OS users screwed??

EscortRadar has repeatedly said that they are working on a new MacOS version of Detector tools. In the meantime, you can install Apple's free Boot Camp and run Windows on your Mac. That's what I've been doing.

Default Please give Mac users pro tools...

Mac users are usually willing to buy the best products at a premium... This is a market of people you don't want to ostracize due to Escort marketing themselves as a premium product company as well (like Apple).

I wouldn't be surprised if there were as many mac users running Escort radar detectors over windows platforms.

While 360c can be updated over wifi, there are Mac users running the Redline EX and want that mac version of pro detector tools for updates... looking forward to that day Escort... plus, please give your customers better product support. A company is nothing without solid product support to win their customer's loyalty over and stand with a company. Burn a customer, you burn yourself... customers make or break the company... they are the soul and lifeblood of a business... take care of them... even if they're wrong sometimes... again, follow Apple's lead... solid customer support.

I tried using Parallels to run Windows on my Mac and Parallels ran fine but windows sucked. There is no way I will try to us Windows again on my Mac.

It would be like using E85 in your high compression engine...it just don't work!

Parallels' virtualization engine works, yes, but Windows runs very slow. Boot Camp runs Windows natively, and at full speed.
