Your subscription is managed by your Escort Live app, not your detectors.

What version of Escort Live are you using, and for what platform (Mac or PC)?

It's curious that two other users and I are seeing the 2017 date, and the screenshot in my reply shows it as well.

I am looking at the Subscriptions section in the iPhone app and it says 29 Jun 2016.

edit: I just updated the app and the expiration date jumped to 29 Jun 2017.

Neither of these detectors are Escort Live ready devices. Only devices which have bluetooth include an Escort Live premium subscription.

If your premium subscription from an Escort Live ready device did not automatically renew for another year then please call our service department at the number in my signature below. You could also send me a private message with your information (Escort Live username and/or email address) but please be aware that it may take a day for me to respond.

Thank you

I have the Smartcord Live for the 9500ix and the Smartcord Direct Wire for the 9500ci so I believe that makes both of them bluetooth capable.

I am going to have to check with Escort and check on my subscription. On 8/6/2014, I purchased a 3-year Defender Database subscription. Should not the subscription expire on 8/6/2017? The EL App show the 6/29/2017 date that it is mentioned here. That is a little over 1 month short of what I see it should say.

Defender subscriptions are separate from Escort Live "premium" subscriptions. If you purchased a 3-year subscription to Defender on 8/6/2014, it would expire on 8/6/2017. This has no connection with your Escort Live subscriptions at all.

That explains it. I guess I have both. The App shows Live it is still valid. What I got back in 2014 was that deal were you get the 2-year extended warranty and the 3-year Defender database, I guess. How can I check the status of the Defender database? I receive those database update emails. Although I have not seen one in quite some time.

Defender is updated weekly. Subscribers receive the emails only if there has been an update within their own state.

Personally, I update mine every week, because I often travel to other neighboring states.

First, make sure that you have the latest version of DT. Once installed, connect your detector to your computer and launch the DT app. You'll find options to update the "software" (firmware) on your detector and to update your Defender database on the detector. Click the "software" update button. If you have an older firmware, DT will download and install the latest version. If DT says that you have the current version, skip ahead and click the "Update Defender" option.

Yeap, did that yesterday. Running now DT 1.11.81 I updated it from 1.11.60.

I just updated Defender with the data as of 6/27/16. All good there now I hope.
