Will the detector update via wifi with the Defender Database? Do I need to activate it somehow?

Yes defender updates are usually sent out on Monday or Tuesday, and you will get this prompt automatically if you are using wifi and the auto update is turned on.

My RL360c has NOT updated the defender data for the past two weeks. Has anyone else had this happen to them?? I deleted & reinstalled all the software on my phone and in my car thinking that something may have gone wrong with the software. Still no defender update. Has there been an update from Escort the past two weeks??

Does everybody have inactive Defender subscription? I updated mine on Tuesday using Detector Tools.

There are so many variables and issues involving WiFi I would only update using Detector Tools. Call me old fashioned or it's use being inconvenient but it always works.

I just tried a manual USB-DTP update and it was successful.
It loaded the 10/19/2020 Defender Database |
