Hate to say it, but it is used in a lot more places than Canada.

Will this update be added to the original Max 360 as well?

I found Escort has addressed some of the questions raised above.
[See below]:

"Enabling MRCT detection also causes additional alerts to vehicles with CAS. MRCT is used in the USA only on pole mounted cameras, our weekly updated Defender database reliably alerts to these cameras without causing additional CAS based alerts. Having said that, MRCT detection may be added at a later time. It's a possibility.

Beginning immediately, units sold to Canada will include MRCD detection out of the box."

I suspect it will be.

From 3 weeks ago:

We have been working on this for a while, reducing CAS/BSM vehicle alerts while maximizing Multaradar detection range. It is about ready.
Also Escort evidently is looking into adding it to the MAX and MAX II products.

From yesterday:

Larry - Anything in this update that would prevent 360c connection to a iPhone hotspot? Reason I ask is my (few month's old) 360c has been reliably able to connect to my iPhone hotspot while on firmware 1.8.
Then a few days ago, I updated to v1.11 (just released). Since then I have not been able to establish a WIFI connection to my iPhone (I can connect to my home network).
I know for the 360c and EL to "initially see" the iPhone hotspot, the iPhone has to have another device connected first. I have an iPad connected before attempting to connect the 360c to my iPhone hotspot.
When I go to EL, it shows my iPhone as an avaiilabe network. When I enter the password and select join, it looks like it is working to establish a connection. After about 10 sec, I see the 360c display: 1) switch from speed (Bluetooth connection) to the 2) Bluetooth logo (momentarily), then 3) back to blue speed (Bluetooth connection) and EL displays an error message that the network could not be joined.
Previously (before the firmware update), under v 1.8, after step 2, the 360c display would turn white (WIFI) and EL would indicate a successful connection.
I realize this message is a bit long but I wanted to provide as much info as I could.
Anyway, is there anything in v1.11 that would prevent this connection?
Also if any other 360c users have run into this, any info or solution would be appreciated.

Update:
After trying several times yesterday to unsuccessfully connect, I tried again this morning and....it connected to my iPhone WIFI hotspot this time! Why it didn't yesterday, but did today, not sure, but happy to report the successful connection.
Also drove across two states yesterday and the new firmware v1.11 was pretty quiet in terms of falsing. With MRCD enabled, I maybe had two instances of falsing over 1k miles. So far so good with the new firmware
