Ok, but considering this would be happening to EVERY Max 360C detector in Canada or in every other country that uses kph, shouldn't there be a fix for the rounding issue??

Escort knows its one KM/MPH off. I posted this last year and they closed the thread saying it was my speedo. Nonsense! Every car I put it in is 1 MPH off. Even Waze has me at 65 MPH and my 360 say 66 MPH. Its a flaw in the detector. Other apps on my phone confirm this as well.

I get this all the time when parked in my driveway...instead of 0 it's 1 mph.

Here’s one theory:

With the way radio frequencies (RF) propagate through the atmosphere, by the time the wave gets to your detector it has shifted left, right, up, down, and back and forth many times. (Think about how an airplane flies through the air. It might seem like it’s straight and level, but it’s constantly shifting around just slightly.) so as your detector is taking in the RF, these slight changes affect the “time” that the signal *should* have gotten there. So in essence, your detector thinks it’s actually moving around, 1 MPH.

I get this on occasion too when in my garage, driveway or in the house when hooked to 12 volts.
When I'm out in the open stopped at a red light (where the GPS has a good lock and away from tall city buildings) it's usually 0.

Can confirm, MPH, Delaware, live app on/off, WiFi on/off this detector is always one off, high.

Also to clear up the RF theory above, GPS is 100% based off the GPS satellite network and not any RF. (I am an electronic tech and my specialty is RF). This satellite network was given away by the US government after they upgraded. Not sure if there is a newer one, haven't been keeping track.

In my first vehicle I've had a 9500?(I think maybe 98?) That has been going strong since 2007. It's always had GPS enabled and it's always been dead on the money unless I changed tire sizes(which WILL affect speedometer).

If your detector is showing 1 MPH when you are sitting still then the top of your detector may not have a clear view of the sky (possible when mounting under a rear view mirror ). Try mounting it lower on your windshield and see if this continues.

If it continues then there is an issue with its GPS receiver. It should show 0 when you are not moving. To set up servicing it, please contact our customer service department at the number in my signature below.
