Default Escort Live Subscription Expired

I have two BT enabled radar detectors - A Max2 and a Max360C. Just today - The escort live app started giving a warning window when I open it - that my subscription has expired. In the subscription tab there are two options to subscribe.

I had heard repeatedly that using a BT enabled RD - would get you Escort Live indefinitely - but that may be incorrect.

The strange thing is - Alerts and speed limit data works even with this error??

How can I disable this pop-up in the app??

Don't subscribe, that's only for those who do not own a Live capable detector/cord.

Make sure you are signed in with the email address and password you originally registered with.

Just in case/for future searchers: Google or Apple gets the money and Escort is unable to do a refund.

Mine showed as expired a few months ago. Seems that after a certain amount of time of not using Live you get dropped. All I had to do was sign out and then sign back in with the email address and password I had originally registered with and I was good to go.

Recover your Escort Live password.

Update your Escort Live password.

If that doesn't work call Escort Radar customer service, available from 9am-5:30pm Eastern Time Mon-Fri at 1-800-543-1608. Make sure to have the detector's serial number at hand.

Ironically - I'm also now experiencing no speed limit data with a max 360C connected through car WIFI - just a white speed limit icon with dashes - Major interstate that used to show.

Yeah. This started happening to me today.... what is the fix? my account has not changed.

Happened to me yesterday. I closed the app and reopened and it went away.

Happened to me again today. I closed the app and reopened. It didn't go away. How do I even know if its working? I live in an area where very few live reports come through.

I really think you should call in and speak with Escort directly. This seems like a server issue to me and it will need to be reported and worked on with Customer Service in order to get it figured out.

Happened to me this week as well. My 360c is 6 months old. Tried the normal troubleshooting: log out of app, log back in. Went so far as to forget BT & WiFi (in-car hotspot) connection, reconnect; no dice.

So, I renewed my subscription through the app with a 3 day trial. What do you know, I had PSL as soon as I got out of my neighborhood where it normally picks up the 35mph zone. Once I got to work, I cancelled the subscription, logged out of the app and logged back in. App still shows I am on the 3 day trial.

My thought is I will see if after the 3 day trial I get the "subscription expired" pop up. If I do at that point, I will be contacting Escort.

I wanted to share my experience in the hopes that others will find it useful in troubleshooting. The unit has worked flawlessly up until now, so I am guessing it is possibly a server or authentication issue.
