Yes but the issue is we donít know how long this Quarantine will last and if it lasts more than 30 days then you wonít be able to send your bad unit back

Are they accepting returns now? If they are then just go ahead And return it for your money back and buy another.

I would expect them to accommodate customers who, through no fault of their own, have been caught in the middle of this pandemic with warranty purchases/returns.

I was SO lucky that my replacement came in the Saturday before they had "closed" on Monday. I feel badly that others may have sent units in for repair/replacement and are in "limbo" now. This could go on for months

I would say you need to call them on the phone, even though they have been shut down for operations they should have some kind of phone rep to talk to. Since they are closed for sales and repairs I would imagine all 30 day trials will be extended. I would expect any decent quality company to do this right now given tbe current situation. As soon as they re open return it and then order a new one.

Escort Customer Service Agents are still available, and working remotely, should you wish to speak to them. They can be reached at 800-543-1608, option 2. Please be advised that the hold times may be longer than usual during this unprecedented event.

As the others have indicated I would certainly call in and arrange things with the reps there. At this time with the craziness in the world and the shutdown itís hard to give real time up to date info.

I agree but, being a nonessential company or service i would imagine all shipping, receiving, and production employees are not working. It's not any company's fault either.

It may not have come across correctly, but I was just trying to assure Kruppa that I didn't think he'd have to worry about his 30 day return window, due to the circumstances (including the fact that the company is practically shut down). ER has exceptional Customer Service and I totally understand that this is no one's fault, including ER. I was just responding to the previous comment "we don’t know how long this Quarantine will last and if it lasts more than 30 days then you won’t be able to send your bad unit back"

Thank you for clarifying. But I understand , and also agree that a company like Escort isn't going to tell people they are no longer under warranty considering you did not have a chance to send it in since they were closed due to circumstances beyond theirs, and all of our control.

What is happening is no ones fault, and all we can do is work together and support one another until it passes. I have been an Escort Customer for many years and have always found them to be very reasonable in taking care of their customers and I know they will continue.
