Default Does IQ have TSR?

Or will there be a software update to install it? I don't see it in the menu options.

Yes, it does.

Please see the owner's manual here:

Thanks. I see that it mentions it in the owners manual but I don't see an option for turning it on and off. Is this something that is just always on? The reason I was asking is because someone was mentioning in another thread to turn it on to reduce K band falsing. I've been getting a lot of that in my rural driving. In the middle of nowhere, I'll get a K or Ku alert with four different frequencies at full signal. Then it will stop.

Also, what's bizarre is that even if I press mute it often doesn't mute it. Or it will keep beeping after the signal disappears and I have to press mute and unpress it to get it stop making noise.

My 7500 was much better, despite the GPS lockouts with the IQ.

Presuming that you live in the USA, there is no need to leave the Ku band enabled. It isn't used.

You can enable/disable bands and TSR in the "Modifying band detection” area of the settings. Please refer to page 51 of your owner's guide, or follow the link that was provided earlier. I regret that I can't give you step-by-step instructions because I don't own an iQ. However, you can call Escort Support and they should be able to walk you through the process.

Thanks again. I know how to turn the bands off (first thing I did was turn off X, POP, and SWS), but there's no option for turning off Ku band. Anyone have any ideas on how to do that?
