Forgive the question but haven't heard of a charge adapter for the Max 360. Do you mean, perhaps, the USB power port on the SmartCord? If not, will you say more?

If we're talking about the USB power port on the SmartCord, the issue may be due to the aging battery in your iPhone 5s, or you might have too many apps running at the same time on your iPhone. Batteries in smartphones, including iPhones, eventually wear out.
